Biography

Amar Tamra received her doctorate in cell biology and biophysics from Toulouse III-Paul Sabatier University in France. During her PhD, she joined the group of Professor David Dubuc and Doctor Marie-Pierre Rols, and studied the effect of electroporation and electrochemotherapy on biological cells, using Microwave Dielectric Spectroscopy (MDS). She joined the group of Doctor Katia Grenier in LAAS (Laboratory for Analysis and Architecture of Systems) in 2017 as a post-doctoral fellow, and worked on the assessment of the effect of microwaves on 3D cell spheroids.
